Fashion wakes me up in the morning. I have had Vogue on subscription since my fourteenth birthday and I attempt to bring some high fashion charm into my everyday life. I’d describe my fashion sense as glamour meets grunge; if it was socially acceptable, I’d wear black on black and killer heels every single day. I’m a sucker for charity shop purchases, mixing over sized tees and jumpers with skimpy bottoms. I’d die for leather and have a sickening faux fur addiction – nine fur coats, two fur shrugs and several gilets. You’ll never see me without black nail varnish and rings on every finger. Right now I am addicted to fringed items, I even have fringed socks, which excites my inner hippie!
As Coco Chanel once said, "Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening." I am a firm believer that fashion is everywhere, inspiration may spring from anywhere and I hope my future posts will encourage fashionable experimentation and risk for everyone.
